How do I review renters and respond to their reviews?

Reviews are a valuable tool to screen prospective booking requests.

When reviewing, owners and renters have 14 days after the rental period to submit a review. Vancation operates on a double blind review system to keep reviews honest.

These reviews are displayed in many prominent locations on the site, learn more about how your percent recommended is calculated here.

You will receive multiple notifications and reminders to leave a review.

  1. After you submit the Return Agreement you can immediately leave a review:mceclip0.png
  2. An email reminder to complete a review is sent after a trip ends.
  3. You can find the review feature within the chat/booking details in your Owner Dashboard.

Leaving a Review Takes Less Than 1 Minute

  1. Select a “thumb” rating for the other party
  2. Add comments or photos regarding the trip experience
  3. Once submitted by both parties, the rating will display publicly on Vancationmceclip1.png

Responding to Renter Reviews

Owners may reply to renter reviews to discuss or clarify issues noted within a review. Owners may have the opportunity to respond once to each review. Make sure to address all issues or concerns needing clarification, as only one reply can be submitted. Read more about review response tips here.
